Our Privacy Policy

This policy describes how our FOCUS applications interacts with you and how we process the information it receives. Be using the FOCUS mobile application you’re acknowledging the you agree to our Terms of Use and understand this privacy policy.

What data we process

FOCUS for Salesforce connects to your mobile phone’s microphone, contacts, email, and text message applications. The microphone is for speech input. Access to your mobile phone contacts allows FOCUS to access contacts you specify as VIPs. Email and text messaging access allows FOCUS to communicate with your Salesforce Contacts and Leads.

Access to Salesforce is controlled by the stand Salesforce OAuth security. When you login to Salesforce with your Salesforce user id and password we receive a session token to use in our communications to the Salesforce system.

FOCUS for Salesforce listens for a wake-up word (“Hey FOCUS” or “Hey Salesforce”) and command (i.e. “Log a Call”). All other data is discarded. When a command is activated, you are prompted for data input based on the configuration set by your Salesforce administrator. Your spoken words are saved in a voice message that is sent to an external service provider that returns a text string back to FOCUS. Nothing is saved in the external provider. FOCUS takes the text string and inputs it into the prompted field. When you complete your input process with a Save or Cancel command, FOCUS sends the data to Salesforce through the secured connection and then deletes it from the phones memory cache. Email and text messages are sent to your mobile phone’s application for processing and recorded in Salesforce as a completed task if you respond “Yes” to the prompt to save your data.
